Incarnate

Souls last forever. The same society forever, just in different shapes. An eternal cycle. But Ana is new. Is she even real? Is she to blame for the havoc sweeping through Heart- the sylphs and the dragons?  With the help of Sam, she tries to find herself. But she lives in constant fear of her mother Li and the people convinced she stole the soul of their best friend. And what about her father, the one she never knew? As she searches, she wonders- does he hold all the answers?

This book was very well carried out. With a plot that was part Giver, part House of the Scorpion, with a little Hunger Games vibe, this book set its expectations high and carried them out very well. It was a very enjoyable read that made you think for yourself and consider the ideas presented. in other words, the book carried you outside of the written word or the pieces of paper. I loved it! It’s one of my new favorite books!
